Take lie detector test: Srihari tells Naidu

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today demanded that AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu face a lie detector test if he was not involved in “Cash-for-Vote” row.

Talking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Srihari attributed Naidu’s failure to condemn the incident itself proves beyond doubt his involvement in the case. Blasting Chandrababu Naidu for making a hue and cry, the Dy CM asked Naidu to resign honorably owning moral responsibility for the scam. Accusing Naidu of hatching conspiracies against Telangana Government, Srihari asked the people of two Telugu States to understand his corrupt activities.

Refuting charges of tapping of Naidu’s phone by the TRS government, the Deputy Chief Minister maintained that the ACB caught the TD leader Revanth Reddy with complete information. “The TRS Government is no way concerned with the issue and it is the investigating agency to do its job”, he asserted. He also took serious exception to Naidu’s outbursts against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Naidu’s direct involvement in the infamous bribery case put people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to shame, he observed. He suggested that the AP Chief Minister should refrain from disturbing the law and order in Hyderabad by his provocative statements. (NSS)
