Zahid Ali Khan, politburo member TDP, told that the holy month of Ramadan provides us the opportunity to achieve blessings of Ramadan. But besides achieving the blessings of Ramadan by adopting taqwa and being righteous, one should also take care of poor and needy, which has been emphasized umpteen times in Quran and ahadeeth.
He was addressing on the occasion of distribution of food grains and clothes among more than 2000 poor and destitute by TDP Bahadurpura incharge, S A Qaiser. Senior TDP leader Lal Jan Pasha also spoke on the occasion.
The two leaders revealed that there are scores of Muslims in poor and slum areas where neither ‘iftar’ nor ‘sahr’ is arranged, hence generous persons need to identify such deserving and needy persons and help them.
S A Qaiser told that he has arranged this programme, as he does every year, only to seek Allah’s and Prophet’s (pbuh) pleasure.
