Officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau on Tuesday raided the residence of a Tahsildar in Yadagirigutta temple town in Nalgonda district.
Following a complaint that Tahsildar Somla Naik was demanding money for giving land record file, the ACB sleuths laid a trap and caught the official red handed while he demanded and accepted money from the complaint to discharge his legitimate duties.
It may be mentioned here that Somla Naik was suspended by the district Collector some time back as he had allegedly granted land pattas in violation of the rules. (NSS)
