TADJAC confers “Messenger of Peace” title for KCR

Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has decided to confer “Messenger of Peace” title to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for respecting all the religions and castes promoting communal harmony in Telangana State.

Announcing this, Mohd. Amranullah Khan, convenor in a press statement here on Sunday stated K Chandrasekhar Rao is the only Chief Minister, who has started a new tradition of honoring all important religious festivals equally and celebrating them officially. Special funds were being released on these occasions of different religious festivals, free-clothes are being distributed besides poor-feeding. Thus, the real “Ganga-Jamuna Tahzeeb” (communal harmony) is taking a practical shape in the Telangana State and the same should become an ideal for the entire Country.

Further, he also said as the result of CM’s statement and respect of all religions on equal basis, frequent communal tensions in Hyderabad and elsewhere in the State have become a thing of the past and daily wage earners like Auto drivers were earning their daily bread peacefully without fear.  He reminded that his committee had weighed KCR in coins and had given “Telangana Super Fast Express” title in the year 2010 for his role in the Telangana agitation. The committee had also given KCR “Telangana Porata Ratna” title just before 2014 Assembly elections. (NSS)
