NEW DELHI: One of the group members of “Team 07” has tendered an apology on his Instagram a day after cyber cell of the Mumbai police registered an FIR against a group for allegedly posting controversial videos related to the mob lynching of Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand.
The members of the group– Faisal Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Faiz Baloch, Adnan Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui – uploaded a video supporting Ansari that was heavily criticized on social media for spreading hate speech.

‘mr faisu 07’, one of the members of the group ‘Team 07’ has put out an apology saying, “We would like to apologise sincerely if any people have felt hurt by our video. Hamara irada, kisi ka dil dukhana, ya unka apmaan karna, nahi tha. Humne video ko nikaal diya hai. Jai Hindi!” (Our intention was not to hurt anyone, or insult anyone. The video has been removed, Jai Hind!)
The matter came to light after Shiv Sena activist Ramesh Solanki had filed a complaint at the Mumbai Police’s cyber cell. Following the complaint, the Chinese short video-messaging app on Tuesday said it has removed the users from its platform.
The three user accounts that have been removed belong to Hasnain Khan, Faisal Shaikh and Sadhan Faroqui.
