Mumbai: Reacting on the mob lynching of Tabrez Ansari in Jharkhand, Union Minister for Minority Affairs, Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi condemned the incident and told that it is very regrettable. The persons involved in it should get stern punishment. He expressed these views while talking to newsmen after inaugurating a new hall at Haj House in Mumbai. He advised the people to be patient. He further told that India is the largest secular country since it adopted secularism after the partition. He informed that minorities have facilities of professing their faith.
He also told that Indian Muslims know very well that violence is not the only enemy of humanity but also of Islam.
He told the people to strengthen the values of democracy and secularism.
