It seems that the communal elements have adopted anti-Urdu attitude and they are trying to wipe out Urdu with a well orchestrated plan. The anti-Urdu elements who have unfortunately crept into the government departments are discriminately wiping out the historical tablets.
The same is happening at the Charminar police station, the oldest police station of the city. You can find a tablet at the Charminar police station even today on which ‘Kachehri Sadar Ameen Kotvali’ is superscripted. But thanks to the negligence, carelessness or anti-Urdu attitude of the officials the tablet has now become unreadable. The tablet is deliberately obliterated by way of white washing and colouring the walls.
The unscrupulous elements who link Urdu with Muslims, have earlier tired to wipe out the Urdu tablets from Osmania University, City College, Madarsa Aliya, Mahboobia College, Osmania Hospital, High Court, Himayat Sagar, Osman Sagar, Purana Pul and Muslim Jang Pul and they succeeded in their evil plans.
