Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today urged the Centre to permit the newly-formed Telangana, the 29th State of Indian union, to present its rich cultural heritage at national level.
The Chief Minister wrote a letter to Union Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and informed him that Information and Public Relations department officials appeared before the Ceremonial Committee on September 29 and October 7 and sought permission to present Telangana Cultural Tableau at ensuing Republic Day Celebrations.
KCR urged Jaitley to permit Telangana State to present for first time its Tableau reflecting our culture at national level along with other States.
