T youth urged not to commit suicides, but fight for the cause

Member of Legislative Council Chukka Ramaiah has appealed to the youth and students not to resort to extreme step, but fight for the cause of separate State.

After releasing ‘ Upiri’ a collection Telangana poems brought out by Rao’s Education Institution here on Wednesday, he lamented while people of Telangana region had fought against Nizam rule, the youth were committing suicides for the cause of Telangana state, due to statements of the Central and the State governments on the issue. Due to lack of unity among the political leaders in the region, and the provocative statements being made by Seemandhra leaders, the youth of Telangana were committing suicides. He demanded the Central government to immediately introduce the separate Telangana Bill in the on-going Parliament session. He alleged the State government was trying to derail Telangana agitation with the help of military forces.

Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof Kodandaram alleged that the Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar was an uncivilized person who made unwanted statements on suicides for separate Telangana issue. He held the Telangana Telugu Desam Forum and the Congress party responsible for the spate of suicides of youth in the region. He said that the Telangana state would be realized only when the political leaders come forward and launched a united fight for separate state.
