TDP Telangana working president A Revanth Reddy today alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was creating more new districts for political gain. His party would bring to the notice of the Governor the erratic method the State government has adopted in the creation of new districts, he said.
Speaking to mediapersons here on Monday, Revanth Reddy accused TRS party of not encouraging Dalit and girijan leaders. He said the places which fall under the ambit of Schedule-5 were being merged with open lands and preventing the rights of girijans, who got them under the Constitution, he said, adding that the Governor should give his consent on the ordinance related to new districts only after consultating with legal experts, otherwise, the party would complain to the President.
Welcoming the CPM’s five-month long Maha Padayatra in the State from October 17, Revanth Reddy said his party would discuss on extending cooperation at regional level. He also alleged that the Congress party has surrendered under the pressure of Chief Minister KCR. His party would soon prepare an action plan about the Constitutional violations committed by KCR government, he added. (NSS)
