Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud has said separate Telangana State would be a reality if TRS chief K. Chandrasekhara Rao gave a letter in writing that he would merge his party in the Congress without conditions.
Speaking to the media at CWC former member Dr K Keshav Rao’s residence here on Tuesday after a meeting of Telangana Congress MPs, Yashki said KCR had agreed to merge TRS in the Congress party if the Congress conceded chief minister post and some seats to him and hence the delay in formation of Telangana State. He said he would take the responsibility of achieving separate Telangana State in case KCR gave a letter on merger of TRS in the Congress unconditionally.
Yashki said the Telangana Congress MPs would continue their fight even after their resignations along with the peoples’ organizations and students. He said the Telangana Congress MPs would lodge a complaint with AICC chief Sonia Gandhi against Union Ministers Ghulam Nabi Azad and Susheel Kumar Shinde for making insulting statements on Telangana issue. He said the party in-charge Vayalar Ravi has made a phone call this morning urging them not to take a hasty decision.
