T state keen to have a separate EAMCET Exam

The Telangana Govt is all set to conduct a separate eamcet exam for admission into Engineering, Pharmacy and Medical, as they have planned for Inter Exams.
This is the result of mutual mistrust between A.P and T.S board of examination, for setting and printing of question papers. To avoid anything to go wrong, the only way is “conduct separate exams” says the T officials of Inter board.
However the A.P Govt quote the recent counseling and certificate verification and interprets the law mention in the AP Reorganization act, “clearly stipulated that common EAMCET entrance test must be conducted for 10 years”.
On their part the T Govt pondering on to have separate exams claiming that they are capable of conducting separate exams.
According to sources IITs conducts Joint Entrance (JEE) for 29 states sees no difficulty in determining the final list of students of two states. The T Govt is reviewing the process of nomination of marks of intermediate comparable to AP.
If things go according to plan, this would be implemented from next year, said a Telangana Officers
