Hyderabad: Telangana State got Rs. 2200 crore from RBI for distribution to various banks. RBI requested the Govt. to provide security staff for sending these currency notes to various banks in Telangana districts. So far, RBI released Rs. 8000 crore. It may be mentioned that Mr. KCR had requested RBI to send Rs. 10000 crore but RBI released only Rs. 2200 crore.
