T State gets 31 IPS Officers

The Union Government has allocated 31 IPS officers to Telangana State to be effective from Appointed Day June 2. They will work on temporary basis and the allocation was made on the basis of guidelines issued by the Centre.
The prominent IPS officers allocated to Telangana Sate include Hyderabad Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma, Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand, Intelligence Chief Mahender Reddy, Shivadhar Reddy, Rajiv Trivedi, Anjana Sinha, Kamalasan Reddy and others.
According to the information, those IPS officials working in districts like DIGs and IGs would continue to work from their existing places of posting. They are likely to get permanent allocation in three months post bifurcation. (NSS)
