‘T’ reached final stage: Ponnala

IT minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah has said that the Telangana issue has reached final stage.
Talking to the media before leaving for New Delhi on Friday, he said there were no differences among the ‘T’ ministers as was being reported by a section of the media. He said all were working together with the sole intention of achieving the state.

Stating that they were all going to Delhi as per the desire of the people of the region, Ponnala has expressed the view that this could be their last visit to the capital.

Meanwhile in New Delhi, Panchayat Raj Minister K Jana Reddy has met the union petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy here. The two are reported to have discussed the Telangana issue in their meeting. MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, Vivek and Rajaiah were with him. Speaking to the media later minister Baswaraju Saraiah has said that excepting one or two, all the public representatives of the Congress party from the ‘T’ region were united on the Telangana issue. He said they would all meet members of the core committee and convince them about Telangana. He has expressed confidence that Telangana would surely be possible.
