Telangana State needs a strong and determined leader like TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, according to its leader K Eswar. “Indeed, Telangana State is awaiting the able leadership of KCR who fought tirelessly for 14 long years for the goal”, he said.
Talking to media persons at Telngana Bhavan here, Eswar said KCR deserves Chief Minister post and his services are a must for Telangana, which was given statehood under his leadership. He said those who come to power at the Centre may try to create hurdles for Telangana State. A leader like KCR with guts and strength of mind can only tackle all challenges and problems, he said. The TRS Chief is the right person to take on the might of the Centre and the party that leads its coalition after the announcement of results for general elections 2014.
People of the region are looking at KCR to become Chief Minister and steer the new State with strategic plans and rebuild it on par with any other State in the country, Eswar said. Persistent development and welfare of Telangana can be done by the TRS alone, he stated. He also alleged that the Centre had given statehood only after some 1,200 youths sacrificed their lives. This could have been averted had the Centre granted statehood to Telangana much earlier, he added.
Eswar said the TRS will get clear majority to form the government. He rubbished that Telangana Congress leaders would stake claim to form government. The people were fed up with Congress misrule and voted in favor of the TRS, he said. “Thus, we are going to be the first government in Telangana State”, he maintained. (NSS)
