Telangana Lawyers’ JAC has tried to lay a siege to Petroleum Minister S Jaipal Reddy’s residence here on Thursday demanding him to make his stand clear on Telangana issue.
The lawyers raised slogans against Jaipal Reddy such as “Union Minister is Betrayer of Telangana”. The police intervened and prevented the lawyers from barging into the Union Minister’s house resulting in jostling between the police and lawyers.
Later, the police arrested the lawyers and shifted them to Jubilee Hills Police Station.
