Hyderabad, November 22: Universities in telangana region and the students leading the separate statehood struggle found discussing the Mayavathi dare on Tuesday subsequent to the resolution of UP division in the assembly. Kakatiya, Satavahana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru and Telangana the five universities of Rural Telangana and the Osmania university have all deliberated the Mayavathi step as a positive step towards the smaller state formation on the national scenario.
It could be a good beginning for the Telangana formation they felt. Almost all the universities in the region opine that the fresh resolution would become a torch for the Telangana issue since that matter was kept in abeyance by the Ruling UPA and other alliances at the centre.
However, the T issue occupied the second seat on Monday and Tuesday in all these varsities with Mayavathi gaining the upper hand. Even the political discussions centred around Maya and many say the BSP cpuld bring about a major change provided that party is given the opportunity in UP once again. The analysts opine that the UP result would now be crystal clear what with the changed stand of BSP on smaller states issue.
