Nizam Sugar factory was set up by the Nizams about 80 years ago and was earning profits till it fell on hard times leading to its privatization. The factory was privatized in 2002 by Telugu Desam Government after it began incurring losses.
she Warned a serious action against those who violated the set norms and dared to encroach upon the government lands. The government would not hesitate to dismantle the illegal structures in the town and stringent measures would be taken against the encroachers.
She criticizes the Opposition parties for trying to tarnish the image of the TRS government by taking up irrelevant padayatras. So far, the TRS government had initiated many welfare schemes for poor and downtrodden sections in the society, she added.
