T govt decided to fill 2,600 vacant posts in Discom

The State government has decided to fill more than 2,600 vacant posts in the power utilities companies and Discoms giving some relief to the unemployed youth, particularly engineering graduates.

It was decided to fill 2,681 engineer posts. Of them 1,948 are assistant engineer posts and remaining 733 sub-engineer posts.

The govt will recruit to fill the vacant posts in view of the major power generation projects coming up in the state.
Chief Minister KCR on Wednesday reviewed the power department functioning with energy secretary Aravind Kumar and others.
