Standing at the top in taking measures to prevent cyber-crimes, the state government had blocked around 150 nauseating websites.
Home minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy told the Legislative Council here on Saturday that it is difficult for the state government to curb such websites alone. He said that “state govt needs Centre’s support in doing so. Efforts are on to block another 1,400 porn websites, Reddy added.
Reddy claimed that the government is conducting awareness campaign against women and child abuse in 300 schools in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Telangana is the first state to come forward against cybercrimes, he added.
