The legislators of Telangana Congress party will elect their new leaders in the Legislative Assembly and Council on Tuesday.
The Telangana Congress Legislature Party has convened the meeting of MLAs at 10.30 AM while the party MLCs will meet at 1.30 PM on Tuesday in the Committee Hall of the State Legislative Assembly. The Congress MLAs and MLCs will be electing their leaders who eventually will become the Leader of the Opposition in both Assembly and Council.
According to sources, former Deputy Speaker Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka is most likely to be elected as the CLP leader in Assembly while former PCC chief D Srinivas or former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir are likely to be elected as party’s leader in Legislative Council. (INN)
