Congress MLCs KR Amos and Yadav Reddy on Friday questioned the intentions of Seemandhra leaders for holding a meeting to discuss the means to keep Andhra Pradesh united.
Addressing a press conference at the Congress Legislature Party office, the MLCs said that if the meeting was aimed at keeping Andhra Pradesh united, then why leaders from the Telangana region were not invited for the same. They alleged that the meeting was meant to sabotage the formation of Telangana State.
Amos said that the Telangana leaders never objected to the activities of Seemandhra leaders in Hyderabad. However, he warned that the Seemandhra leaders of retaliation if they hatch conspiracies to damage the Telangana cause by holding such meetings in Hyderabad. (INN)
