Congress MLCs Yadav Reddy on Thursday wondered over the silence of Telangana ministers and MLAs over the decision of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in taking away the portfolio of Legislative Affairs from Sridhar Babu.
Speaking to media persons in Assembly premises here, Yadav Reddy said that the Telangana Congress leaders should have reacted strongly on the Chief Minister’s move. However, he said that Kiran Kumar Reddy’s moves would not stall the formation of Telangana.
Yadav Reddy also alleged that the YSRCP legislators were not allowing the Assembly to run properly. Therefore, he appealed to Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar and Council Chairman Dr A Chakrapani to use their special powers to run the house properly. He said that the actions of YSRCP and TDP legislators from Seemandhra region were a threat to the democracy. (INN)
