Hyderabad, July 04: The Congress MLA from Warangal, Mr Basawraj Saraiah, on Saturday stated that the Justice B N Srikrishna Committee of Consultations on State bifurcation has given time to Telangana Congress leaders to present their views on July 6. The proceedings will be conducted between 9 am and 5 pm at Jubilee Hall, Public Gardens, here, he added.
In a pressnote here, Mr Saraiah appealed to all the party MPs from the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, MLAs, MLCs, ZP chairpersons, DCCB chairpersons, Mayors, municipal chairpersons, PCC office-bearers, Telangana Regional Congress Committee members, DCC presidents and all concerned to assemble at Gandhi Bhavan at 7.30 am so as to reach Gun Park (Telangana Martyrs memorial) opposite Assembly buildings at 8 am to pay homage to martyrs and march to Jubilee Hall to meet the Srikrishna Committee to articulate “our stand”.
Mr Saraiah urged the members to reach the State capital a day before the meeting and join the delegation without fail.
The appeal was signed by the former home minister and MLA, Mr K Jana Reddy, the MPs Mr Ponnam Prabhakar, Mr G Sukhender Reddy, Mr Manda Jagannatham, and MLCs Mr K R Amos, Mr S Indrasain Reddy, Mr N Rajalingam, Mr V Bhupal Reddy and Mr S Jagadeeswar Reddy.
