Several Telangana Congress leaders have gathered at the local MP S Rajaiah’s residence here on Thursday to discuss on meeting the former AICC general secretary in-charge of state Congress party affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad for the sake of Telangana state.
Speaking on this occasion, Nizamabad MP Madhu Yashki Goud has said that the state will not be continued as it is by providing special packages to Telangana region. He alleged that the Seemandhra leaders were indulging in behind the screen politics and dacoit politics and trying to backstab the issue when the centre was on the verge of taking a decision on Telangana issue. He said that it is not proper on the part of the Seemandhra leaders to behave in that manner.
Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar urged the Seemandhra leaders not to obstruct the party high command which is preparing plans to take a favorable decision on Telangana issue. (NSS)
