BJP Telangana legislators, led by state party president Dr K Laxman, today met various Union ministers and sought their help in implementation of welfare programs for the development of the State.
During their meeting with Union ministers, including M Venkaiah Naidu, the BJP state leaders urged the Centre to include students of Intermediate under the schemes of mid-day meals, formation of girijan university, setting up of fluoride research centre in the affected Nalgonda district and a turmeric research centre in Nizamabad district. The State BJP MLAs also raised other issues that include Railways, waiving of farmers loans, electrification of rail line in the State. Besides Venkaiah Naidu, they met Union ministers Prakash Jawadekar, Sripad Naik, Jagan Prakash Nadda, Radhamohan Singh, Suresh Prabhu and Nirmala Sitharaman.
