Senior BJP leaders of Telangana region on Thursday held consultations to evolve a strategy in view of municipal elections in the State.
The Telangana BJP leaders also discussed about the visit of party’s national president Rajnath Singh and Sushma Swaraj in Telangana region where the two leaders would address public meetings.
It was decided to adopt a strategy on the basis of local needs in municipal elections and on political polarization in view of bifurcation of the State. They also discussed on party’s probable candidates for the municipal elections. The meeting was attended by Telangana districts’ party presidents and office-bearers.
Meanwhile, Telangana JAC leaders today met BJP Telangana leaders and discussed on the prevailing political situation. (NSS)
