Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy today demanded that the TRS government convene an all-party meeting to discuss the power crisis in the State.
Speaking to the media here, T-BJP chief suggested if necessary an all-party delegation should be taken to the Governor to discuss and find a solution to resolve power problems prevailing in the State.
Accusing Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao of behaving irresponsibly, Kishan Reddy said problems can not be resolved just by criticizing his AP counterpart. If KCR feels that AP is doing injustice to Telangana, why he did not take initiatives to hold talks with Chandrababu Naidu, he said.
The Telangana BJP chief alleged that KCR was trying to divert public attention over power crisis by criticizing his AP counterpart. Chief Ministers both States should discuss the issue and resolve it amicably, he suggested. Kishan Reddy asked KCR to resolve problems of farmers and prevent suicides. The Telangana chief minister himself said there should be no problems of electricity for another three years and why he failed to purchase electricity from Chattisgarh State which had offered power on low price.
