Telangana Legislative Assembly Speaker S Madhusudan Chary on Thursday disallowed five adjournment motions moved by opposition parties.
While TDP MLA KP Vivekananda and others sought discussion on need to implement Financial Assistance for Students of Telangana (FAST) schemed from current academic year, BJP’s Dr K Lakshman wanted debate on death of a woman after falling in a nala during heavy rains in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening. T Venkateswarlu (YSRCP) gave adjournment motion notice on health problems in Girijan areas, R Ravindra Kumar (CPI) on release of amounts sanctioned under CMRF and Sunnam Rajaiah (CPM) on VRS schemes.
The Speaker announced that he was disallowing all the adjournment motions. (INN)
