The first session of Telangana State Legislative Assembly will begin on June 9, according to Home Minister and TRS senior leader Nayani Narsimha Reddy.
Talking to mediapersons at Telangana Secretariat here on Monday, Nayani said the ruling party legislators would elect Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Assembly during the session. The Cabinet would also take a decision to conduct the Assembly session as many days as possible.
It is likely that the session will be held for about a week initially if not three to four weeks continuously. Referring to loan waiver of farmers, Narasimha Reddy maintained that the government would talk to bankers and take a decision. (NSS)
