Telangana Advocates JAC has said that adequate representation in politics be provided to the advocates who have taken key role in the Telangana agitation by participating in the rallies, bandhs and sakala janula same, besides fighting in the courts.
In a press note here on Wednesday, JAC official spokesperson Upendra Ch, Co-convenors P Goverdhan Reddy and K Goverdhan Reddy said that all the political parties should provide 10 per cent of seats in State Assembly, Parliament, local body elections to the Telangana Advocates who fought for T state and thus make them part of the Telangana reconstruction process.
They regretted that the political parties were encouraging ‘aya rams and gaya rams’, which is a great blow to democracy.(NSS)
