The Telangana Advocates Joint Action Committee (TAJAC) has unanimously resolved to go on relay hunger strikes from July 15 to 30 demanding bifurcation of High Court and constitute a separate High Court for the Andhra Pradesh State.
According a press note here today, M. Rajender Reddy, TAJAC Chairman requested all advocates to participate in relay hunger strike in a large number in front of the High Court Bar Council gate (Gate-6).
He also requested all the District courts advocates to launch relay hunger strikes in their respective Courts from July 15 to 30.
If the process of bifurcation of the High Court was not started before July 30 by the Government of India, the agitation will be intensified from August 1.
The TAJAC appealed to all advocates of the Telangana State to participate in relay hunger strikes from July 15 to 30. The TAJAC submitted a representation to the Telangana BJP president to pursue the matter.
The TAJAC has already submitted a representation to the Chief Justice of India and Union Law and Justice Minister in this regard.
