Telangana Advocates’ Joint Action Committee (TAJAC) has decided to celebrate June 2 as Telangana Formation Day and hoist Telangana flags in front of all courts.
At a meeting of Steering Committee of TAJAC held on May 26, three resolutions were passed and decided to send them to all districts appealing to the people to celebrate June 2 as Telangana formation day. On June 2, advocates of the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, Ranga Reddy Bar Association, after hoisting flag, would reach Gun Park in a rally in front of Assembly. In the meeting, floral tributes were paid to those who sacrificed their lives for Telangana and thanked to all those, including advocates, who participated in the agitation.
In a pressnote issued here, the TAJAC leaders welcomed the new Telangana government under the leadership of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. The signatories of the press note were: TAJAC chairman M Rajender Reddy, president K Jagat Pal Reddy, Ranga Reddy Bar Association president K Raji Reddy, convener N Prahlad and B Konda Reddy. (NSS)
