Hyderabad, September 27: The Telangana activists on Monday barged into premises of Road Transport Authority office at Khairtabad demanding withdrawal of show-cause notices served on employees.
Raising ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans, the activists entered the office of Assistant Commissioner Srinivasa Rao demanding that he withdraw the notices served on employees immediately. The activists had a heated argument with the Assistant Commissioner and manhandled him during the argument.
The Telagnana activists also had a heated argument with Transport Commissioner Hiralal. The activists said that they would not leave the premises until the Commissioner withdraw show cause notices.
Bowing to the pressure of activists, the Assistant Commissioner told the activists that he would withdraw notices served on the employees.
According to sources, the commissioner issued show cause notices on employees who participated in the general strike of employees expressing solidarity to Telangana agitation.
