Synagogue shooting declared hate crime

Washington: The investigative officers probing into the synagogue shooting incident in American city Pittsburgh have declared the incident as the hate crime. They said that the shooter opened fire on the Jews worshipping in the synagogue while shouting anti-Jew slogans.

Robert Bowers, 46, of suburban Baldwin, stormed a Pittsburgh synagogue and opened fire, killing 11 people. Hate crime charges have been filed against him. He surrendered to authorities.

Meanwhile, Rabta Aalam-e-Islami has expressed deep sorrow over the incident and resultant killings in which innocent people were killed. General Secretary Rabta Aalam-e-Islami Dr Mohammed bin Abdul Kareem Esa condoled the death of the victims and declared it as terrorism.

2 Muslim groups have collected fund up to 80000 dollars to help the victims’ families. Two Muslim groups ‘Celebrate Mercy’ and ‘Empower Change’ collected the funds. And said that we want to give a message from the Muslim community that there is no place of hate and violence in America.
