Hyderabad, January 29: CM of A.P. Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy assured the delegation of Telangana employees that the Govt. would consider their demand to convert 42 days strike period into leave. Mr. G. Sriniv Yasulu President and Mr. A. Padmachari, General Secretary of the Employees Association met the CM yesterday in Secretariat and made a representation to convert the strike period into leave as per the agreement reached earlier.
The employees who are retiring between October and January will be put to a lot of inconvenience if the matter is not settled.
The delegation impressed upon the CM to solve the cases of injustice of Telangana employees. It was also suggested that a permanent joint cabinet committee or legislature committee be setup for the redresral of the problems of the employees.
