Los Angeles: “Blade Runner 2049” actor Sylvia Hoeks is in talks to join the cast of “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” sequel.
Claire Foy has been roped in to play the lead role of Lisbeth Salander in the sequel titled “The Girl in the Spider’s Web,” reported Variety.
The new installment of Sony Pictures’ Millennium franchise will start production in January in Berlin and Stockholm. The film is scheduled to release on October 19, 2018.
The movie will be directed by Fede Alvarez and Hoeks will play Salander’s evil twin in it.
Steven Knight wrote the screenplay for “Girl in the Spider’s Web” with the team of Alvarez and Jay Basu, based on David Lagercrantz’s bestseller.
