Pradesh Congress Committee President B Satya Narayana has appointed Syed Yousuf Hashmi as Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee for second term. Syed Yousuf Hashmi who represents old city of Hyderabad is associated with Congress for a long time.
He had been general secretary and vice present of Hyderabad City Congress and also served as the director of SETWIN. He contested from Charminar assembly constituency in 1994 on Congress ticket.
Mr. Syed Yousuf Hashmi has thanked Pradesh Congress committee president B Satya Narayana and Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy for putting trust in him and nominating him as Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary for the second time. He pledged to work for strengthening the party, particularly in the old city.
