Expressing strong resentment over not appointing any Muslim leader on the post of president or working president, Secretary Telangana Pradesh Congress Syed Yousuf Hashmi said that Muslims are not the tenants of Congress they are partners. He told that minorities especially Muslims have always supported Congress but Congress didn’t do justice with Muslims in division of posts. There is no dearth of Muslim leaders with leadership qualities in Congress but Congress always ignored them. Muslim leaders of Congress dedicated their lives for the party and they are equally entitled to the posts in the party. When minorities supported Congress, it got power in 2004 when they left the party, Congress lost power in 2014 still the party does not retrospect nor tries to restore minorities’ confidence.
