Telugu Desam Party has included Mr. Syed Yousuf Ali ex-Waqf Board Chairman in the state committee as vice president. TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu issued the orders on Thursday. Mr. Yousuf Ali has served in Andhra Pradesh State Waqf Board and chairman during TDP rule. Besides this he has contended from Kamareddy more than once.
With Mr. Syed Yousuf Ali given the post of TDP vice president, Telugu Desam Party now has 3 Muslim vice presidents including Mr. Alhaj Mohammed Saleem MLC, Mr. S M Lal Jan Pasha ex-MP. TDP in its minority declaration had announced to give proper representation to minorities on party level.
