Mr. Shamsheer Singh Rawat (IAS) secretary social welfare has been given additional charge of Minority Welfare Department. He will perform this duty in the absence of Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel Special Secretary Minority Welfare Department.
Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel has been appointed as poll observer of Tora Parliamentary constituency of Meghalaya. He has set out to performing his duty as election observer in Meghalaya from March 21 to April 11.
Chief Secretary Dr. P K Mohanty gave Shamsheer Singh additional charge of Minority Department by issuing GO RT 1138. After returning from Meghalaya Syed Omer Jaleel will resume his duties as Special Secretary Minority Welfare.
