Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) politburo member Syed Ibrahim has resigned from the party.
Upset over the party denying him a ticket from Mahbubnagar Assembly constituency, Ibrahim tendered his resignation from the party. The seat was given to Telangana Gazetted Officers (TGO) association president Srinivas Goud.
Earlier, Ibrahim unsuccessfully contested from Mahbubnagar Assembly seat in a bye-election and BJP candidate Srinivas Reddy had won. (NSS)
