Syed Ibrahim quits TRS, to contest from Mahboob Nagar

Dubbing TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao as opportunist and cheat, Syed Ibrahim announced to resign from TRS and to contest from Mahboob Nagar assembly constituency in General elections 2014. He convened a meeting of his supporters on Friday in which he decided to resign from TRS on unanimous decision.

Later speaking to media he told that he had played important role in Separate Telangana Movement and worked diligently for strengthening the TRS party in Mahboob Nagar, he faced opposition with valor and bore several losses. He recounted that he contested in bye election beside 2009 general elections and faced defeat with negligible votes. While TNGO leader Swami Goud played important role in his defeat. But instead of keeping distance from him, TRS chief Chandrasekhar Rao announced to give ticket to Swami Goud from Mahboob Nagar assembly constituency.

My supporters who are working for TRS for years were deprived of MPTC and ZPTC tickets, said Syed Ibrahim.
