Two swine flu patient who are under treatment in a private hospital went missing. The 53-year-old patient,from Ranga Reddy district, was put on a ventilator on Sunday.
He was one among the six patients who tested positive for the H1N1 virus on Saturday. He remained untraceable despite efforts of the Hyderabad district surveillance team.
A 54-year-old woman, also left the hospital on Monday. However, the surveillance team traced her. Meanwhile, condition of old woman turned very critical. She was put on a ventilator. Dr Rukma confirmed that none of the close contacts of the two patients admitted at Gandhi Hospital had shown symptoms of Swine Flu.
A 17-month-old baby boy and a 25-year-old pregnant woman, who were admitted to Gandhi Hospital, are stable, said a doctor.
To restrain the spread of the infection, Surveillance teams are keeping the track of the patients and their close contacts
