Member of National Commission for Backward Classes, AK Saini, has been affected with Swine Flu and has been admitted in a hospital for treatment.
Saini, along with Commission Chairman Justice VK Eshwaraiah and other embers SK Kharventhan, AK Mangotra and Dr Shakeel-uz-Zaman Ansari had come to the city on April 7 to conduct hearing on inclusion or deletion of castes in the Central List. However, Saini got affected with Swine Flu on Thursday night. This created panic among other members who rushed to the hospital on Friday morning.
This has delayed the hearing of BC Commission at Indira Priya Darshini on Friday by more than one hour. The Commission Chairman, Justice Eshwaraiah, expressed regret over the delay in conducting the hearing and informed that all members had been to hospital for Swine Flu test. (INN)
