Swine Flu hits 20-40 age group, more 47 fresh cases

According to the experts, around 70% cases fall within the 20-40 age group and the main reason is, the people from this age are more exposed to the virus circulating in the environment.

Going out without any precautions to the place where there is an epidemic means getting exposed to the virus.

Of the 76 samples received by the IPM on Tuesday, 26 tested as positive while 21 of 92 samples as positive on Wednesday. Currently, the H1N1 virus is highly active, with nearly 47 fresh cases.

Meanwhile, with the peak season for swine flu having begun a fortnight back, experts expect the number to double over the next one month.
