The Swine Flu cases are on the rise in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad.
As many as 20 fresh cases have been reported from the twin cities during the last 20 days. Of them, 10 patients are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital, while 10 others have been admitted at private hospitals. So far, 74 cases of Swine Flu have been reported in Hyderabad since January 1.
Meanwhile, a senior citizen, who was detected swine flu positive and was suffering from other illness too, reportedly died on Wednesday after he was shifted from a private hospital to Gandhi Hospital. While 16 deaths due to Swine Flu were reported in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in 2014, this is the first death reported in 2015. (INN)
