The KPHB Police retrieved the body of a 60-year-old man from Pragathi Nagar lake here on Friday.
The deceased, G Kurumaiah, a resident of Ellammabanda is suspected to have accidentally fell into the lake on Thursday. However, his body could be retrieved only on Friday morning. He was a sweeper.
In a different case, the Narsingi police on Friday retrieved the body of an unidentified man, aged about 35 years, from Musi River near Manchirevula village. The body has been preserved at the OGH mortuary for post-mortem and identification.
