Ms. Sampoorna, a sweeper of Bhopalpalli Municipality in Warangal district was elected as its Chairperson. For the past two years she was sweeping the roads. Ms. Sampoorna told that she had not dreamt of becoming the Chairperson of Municipality. She said that it is her good fortune she was elevated from a sweeper to the Chairperson. She thanked TRS for giving the ticket. Speaker of Assembly Mr. Madhusudan Chari played a key role in her election.
